Pastor John L. Marble was born in Earle, AR.,  to the late Willie Pearl and Charley Marble Sr. He
has eleven other siblings, him being the seventh child later graduated from Earle High School and
stayed in Earle until he joined the Army 1974; it was there that he realize God had a better life for
him than the life he was living. Pastor Marble attended Church in Hawaii where he began teaching
Sunday School.

In 1978, June 23, John L. Marble was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and rec
eived the gift of
the Holy Ghost the following month on July 31, under the leadership of Elder Dave Favors of
Forrest City, AR.

Two years later Pastor Marble began to work in the Central Arkansas area and after years of
commuting back and forth between Forrest City and Little Rock. He moved to North Little Rock
and joined The First Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop Leodies Warren. There
Pastor Marble was appointed the Assistance Pastor of that assembly.
In 1983, Pastor John Marble became the Young People President for this church. Being as it was he was very honor to be apart of the
growth in the ministry for the youth. Pastor Marble also worked in prison ministry for 17 years where he blessed many inmates to become
born again through the baptism in Jesus name.

Then 10 years later the Lord was still moving in his life as his greater works were still moving as the Lord willed him.
In 1994 Pastor Marble married choir director & Sunday School teacher Evangelist Shelia Laster (Marble) whom now together they have a
family of eight children, four sons & four daughters.

Pastor Marble is a man of Faith & Beliefs in the word of God. He stand strong on God’s Word & believes that  “There hath no temptation
taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I Cor. 10:13.

In 2000 Pastor Marble was elected to the office of Sunday School Superintendent of the Arkansas District Council of the Pentecostal
Assemblies of the World where he served for six years.  

In 2001, God had ordered the steps of Pastor Marble to Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church where he was elected for this church to serve
as the new shepherd over this congregation. Pastor Marble has been in the ministry for almost 30 years & as the Lord anoints & leads him he
will lead his Gospel Lighthouse Family. Pastor Marble is humble in spirit, and wherever the will of the Lord leads him he will follow because
he is a servant unto the Lord first.

Pastor believes if you don’t love someone it is impossible to lead them, thus he has a great love for the members of Gospel Lighthouse and
people in general. As the will of Lord continues to bless him, in 2006 he was elected as the Assistant Chairman for the Arkansas District
Council, and on April 10, 2007 Pastor Marble was appointed to District Elder, then on Thursday, October 11, 2007 Pastor John L. Marble was
ordain at the Arkansas District Council meeting as a District Elder over several churches.  As you can see the Lord is not done with him yet.
In 2008 Pastor Marble was elected as the Chairman for the Arkansas District Council.

Lighthouse.  This truly is a man of God that the Lord is looking upon and saying well done my son. As he continues to walk in the will of the
